does it cost extra to configure and use a yahoo email on blackberry's?

i recently bought myself a blackberry pearl and had seen the option to configure an email on it and i selected the user agreement and read anything else b4 configuring it and it didn't specify if i would be charged so i was wondering if it cost any amount whatsoever to use the email or if it is included in the service (i have verizon wireless family share plan 2200 anytime-minutes)?

If you have the media package, then it won't cost anything to have an email account or use the browser. It's really pointless to have a Blackberry if you do not sign up for this plan.

If you have internet on your blackberry it shouldnt charge. But if you dont have an internet plan or you have gone over it will charge you for data and airtime while configuring.
