Does it make sense to minor in Sociology if I'm majoring in Nutrition?

I'm working towards becoming a Registered Dietitian (RD) and am considering minoring in Sociology. I've heard it's fairly common to combine Psychology and Nutrition, but does it make sense to combine with Sociology? Thank you.

sociology would only make sense if you plan on doing research in the future.

i would take some soc classes on the side, it would help you understand your clients better, but at the same time, you can do your own independent reading for free on the side and demonstrate that knowledge through experience and put that on a resume'. experience is greater than the minor.

psychology would be more beneficial than soc for your field
