I recently acquired an iMac g4 and an emac for a very cheap price. Bot are running os x10.2. I would like to upgrade them to the latest software, without causing any problems to the machine. I read that the G4 WILL run leopard. The machine has an 800 mhz processor (? or whatever it is, excuse my little knowledge of these terms). I believe it meets all other requirements for leopard, except for the mhz. It has a dvd drive, so should it be able to load the leopard installation dvd? I would like to know how well this would work before i went out and bought leopard. I have a copy of OS X 0.4 to run on it if this doesn't work, but I would really like to try leopard. I haven't set up the emac, but do they run leopard? If so, what are the requirements for that? thanks
