Does my car require premium gasoline?

I have a 1993 Mazda MX-6 LS with a 2.5 DOHC v6.

For the model for my year, it was in the middle, it wasn't the base model, but it wasn't the the highest. I'm wondering if Premium Gasoline is necessary?
