I know everyone has that group of friends or family that has that certain sense of humor that only THEY will get or find funny. I've seen a lot of different kinds among different "groups" around my high school but they are just stupid and for some reason they find it hilarious when it isn't.
Now to the point- Me and my friends have a terrible sense of humour, not because we aren't funny but because we make fun of things that cross the line. Whenever we hear about someone dying or recently passing away, we make jokes about it and "meme" them occasionally. For example, a former student from our school died in a car crash and we have been laughing about it since. Also recently a boy I played basketball with died after he was in a coma.
Another time is when a former friend of ours was impregnated due to irresponsibility during her teen years and we make fun of her misfortune all the time. We make mockeries of all these things openly and we literally lose it just laughing that we can't even breathe anymore. We feel no sense of sorrow AT ALL when it comes to death, and even vowed to party at each others funerals and have a good time
With that being said, keep in mind that we are not making fun of these things as if we are 11-year old children with no knowledge of anything. My group is actually a very intelligent group, we all go to college, and are all "smarter than the average bear", but for some reason this is our humor and I was just wondering if it was healthy, should I stop it, how should I stop it, am i an evil person?
(sorry it's 3 am and I literally thought of asking this while in bed so im half asleep, please ignore any grammar/spelling errors)
