does playstatin 3 play burned blu ray discs?

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a blu ray player and I have heard that the PS3 is the best one.

I am just wondering if, in the future when things get cheaper, I buy a blu ray burner will the PS3 be able to play a burned blu ray disc?

I know that it will play burned DVDs anyone with experience with blu ray burned discs?

to be honest i think in the future that the ps3 will be able to read blue ray disc format burn the ps3 last update offered divx which allow to play data disc, if your not familar of how that work you can save a bunch of movies on to a dvd and the ps3 will read it fine and play the movie just like it was bought. So i really think that when we are able to burn blue ray movies there will either be a ps3 update.
