I know that the phone comes into the house by cable then to the digital modem and then goes into the phone jack but does that phone jack connect with the same line as my dsl? and also I have a filter provided by telus dsl that the tech put on my phone line he said that that would reduce noise to the internet connection but if they don't share the same line then why have the filter.
