Does smoking marijuana have the same effect as smoking tobacco?

It's never good to smoke any plant matter.

I don't know how legitimate this article is, but judging by the insane amount of lung cancer cases caused by cigarettes, I think it is safe to say that they will, in the end, cause more problems than marijuana.

Not sure about the leathery skin. Smoking anything can deepen your voice...I think the main difference between smoking marijuana and smoking cigarettes is that people who smoke cigarettes smoke them very frequently. You don't see people smoking 20 joints a day (equivalent to a pack of cigarettes). Yes, smoking anything will stain your teeth. But then again, so can food and coffee. As long as you take care of your teeth it shouldn't have too much of an impact on your smile. Vaporizing marijuana is a safer alternative to smoking and is better for you lungs and teeth. Hope this helped

I know one makes you high, and one doesn't. And one is addictive, and one isn't. But does it have the same effect on you health wise?

Is one more likely to give you lung cancer quicker than the other?
If you smoke pot every other day for a long period of time will it make your skin all leathery and voice all scratchy like cigarettes will?
Will weed make your teeth yellow?

ETC
