A couple weeks ago we were at a Mazda dealership looking at the Mazda3, and we were trying to decide between a Mazda3 and a Scion XB. We told the dealer we liked the Scion better because it had more room, so then he introduced us to the CX-7. He told us it had the Mazda3 engine, but is roomier. I guess people had problems with the engine, so they changed it to the Mazda3 engine. The reason we are concerned is because we prefer vehicles built as much in Japan as possible. The Mazda3 engine is built in Japan, but the CX-7 used to have the same engine as the Ford Fusion. I'm no expert on cars, and so I don't even know if this makes sense, but does anyone know anything about this?
