Does the summation of (e^(-8n) - e^(-8n-1)), from n=1 to infinity, converge?

alright, if you're asking for summations on here, that is pretty sad. calm down, and ask your teacher for help on monday morning. Or you could try to comparing it to e^n and see where that takes you. Or you could take limit. Or try the limit comparision test.

My calc teacher's website has some documents on this stuff that might be helpful:

Best of luck with calc!
