Doesn't deodorant gross you out?

It's sticky, makes me feel more sweaty and I simply dislike it (and I don't have a life so I need to complain about something so I would sound like a teenager who goes to school every day and suffers from parental stress and too much homework). But seriously, it's gross and makes me want to shower! And it doesn't cover up anything or make me sweat any less! Is it because I'm still growing up and I won't sweat as much when I'm 20 years old?
I use roll-on by the way from Rexona, I think.

I actually like the nice cool feeling when i apply it on...spread my armpit out to dry in 10 sec and its good!
