Ok I have a Bloodhound/Chocolate Lab mix and he is 7 months old. Well I have been haveing a lot of problems with boone(thats his name), he chews things up, pees on the floor, he destroyed my moms couch, he has chewed up 4 pairs of shoes, he chewed though are TV wire (we have dish tv so the wire that has the tv running though it) he chewed that in half and that stuff has 18 volts running though it.
Ive tryed everything, i can think of nothing works because he wont listen to me. But I am not sure if this has anything to do with it, but when my dad comes over he can tell boone anything and he dose it. But when I do the same thing my dad dose boone wont listen to me.
I think its what he prevous owners did, they just left him in the back yard and didnt do anything with him because he got to big for them. They had two young boys and boone kept knowing them down when he was playing so thats why they got rid of him.
I dont know what to do with boone, I love him but my mom is REALLY pissed because she had to pay 100$ to get the TV wire fixed. She wants to getrid of boone, like give him to our animal shelter(please dont say anythng about how bad it is to give a dog to an animal sheltor, I personaly know the lady that runs it she never kills the animals there, unless they have a sickness)
What can I do?

Well at this point I think the best thing to do for Boone is hire him a dog trainner or take him to dog obediance classes. You could probably find one in your newspaper or an add in the local pet store.
