I'm having to write a book report on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson for my 11th grade English/literature class. I've read the book from cover to cover twice, and I have a thorough knowledge of it, but i'm having trouble coming up with an introduction to my report. I've had many failed attempts. I don't really know what direction to head with it. Do I talk about the history of the book, the duality of good and evil inside humans, or what? If someone could explain to me some good examples or ideas to put in the intro, It would help me so much. Thanks in advance.
**And, no, I'm not asking anyone to write it for me**
I would also like to know if it would be accceptable to talk about the history of the book, like when Robert Louis Stevenson wrote it, his inspiration, somewhere in the report.
