[QUOTE="jervis, post: 1665442, member: 168835"] This was my problem before until I reformatted my PC and installed Nero 8. Everything worked fine for a while - my DVD burner even started writing on rewritables unlike before when I could only write on r/w discs. However, just very recently, things changed. Everytime I write data onto my DVDs, all my RAM gets used up (I have 1.5 GB). I don't remember having done anything different. What could be the cause? Thanks in advance! Also, aside from the burning process using too much RAM, I've noticed that my DVDs take a longer time now to burn eventhough I didn't change anything. Before, a regular DVD writing session will only take a little over 10 minutes and now it takes almost an hour eventhough I'm writing practically the same amount of data all the time and I'm using the same kind of disc.
