The universal remote still works for the audio receiver, vcr and TV, but not the cable box or DVD player (located on top of the vcr below the TV). The remote for the DVD player itself also will not work. I realized that if you get less than an inch away then the remotes work (but then whats the point). I'm guessing there is some type of interference, but I'm not sure what in the world it could be....</blockquote>
