The latest rumor in the NBA has Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic getting traded to the New Jersey Nets. The rumored trade also includes the Cleveland Cavaliers and features a total of 11 players and multiple draft picks. The trade could be completed as soon as Monday morning, reports say.
While we don’t know specifics of the trade, it sounds like Dwight Howard would get traded to the Nets, Brook Lopez would get traded to the Magic and Kris Humphries would get traded to the Cavs. The Magic would undoubtedly also receive a number of young prospects and draft picks.
At some point in time, Howard is either going to sign an extension with the Magic or get traded. Personally, I think he’ll get traded but I’m not convinced the trade will happen anytime soon. That said, stay tuned on Monday because this saga may finally end with Dwight Howard getting traded to the Nets.
