I am a first time bird owner & I bought a 1-2 year old male Rosella who was not hand tamed & at this point is scared of them . I figured if I worked with him he would warm up to me but now online I am hearing that they never learn to like being held & if im going to have him for 20 some years I want a bird who will at least act to enjoy my company lol. My question is will he ever learn to trust hands and be able to be held ? Or should I just give up on that idea ? I already love him so I really dont want to sell /: another question is , if I bred him would he be able to share a cage with his son? I figure probably not cuz they can be territorial. Btw he is not aggressive like some Rosellas. Please help. Thanks.
