The Brooklyn Nets continue to be aggressive in going after new players. Their new target is a big one … literally. According to reports, the Nets are looking at Eddy Curry, the hefty bigman who last season played for the Miami Heat.
Considering that Eddy Curry hasn’t had a decent season since the 2007-08 campaign, it’d be a risky signing for the Nets. Even with the Heat last season, Curry did next to nothing. He played in only 14 games and averaged 2.1 points and 0.9 rebounds.
That said, Eddy Curry is still only 29 years old. If he can get in shape and begin playing hard, he still has a chance to be an above average player in the NBA.
