I was told by someone I know to send my resume in to a company that's hiring. She gave me the name of the hiring manager (June) and told me specifically to write "Attn: June" in the subject line.
So now I'm wondering- do I include a greeting in the email? I don't know her last name and it's just a few lines explaining who I am and asking about the job with my resume attached. "Dear June" sounds ridiculous considering the length and "Hi June" seems way too informal. "Hello June" is just creepy.
Is it weird to just launch right into the message since the subject line makes the recipient clear?
Ron- Thanks, but very unhelpful. As I stated originally, I don't know her last name.
