V vtgmc2500 New member Jan 6, 2009 #1 Tapping sound that comes and goes as I drive it. It sometimes happens at start up, but not always. It can happen while sitting at a stop light or while I'm driving. It can be loud or soft. It is strange. It is a tapping/knocking noise.
