I'm a graphic designer. I don't know if it's like this anywhere else, but it seems like there's always subtle/bitter competition between designers and technicians. My friend brought this up
Designers = MAC
Engineers = PC
Designers = iPhone
Engineers = Droid
Designers = middle/fancy lifestyle. Night shows, clubs, art galleries, AIGA
Engineers = Corporate groups, more money, high end restaurants, Stocks.
LOL. Anyone ever encounter this? I can't be the only one.
