I would like to go on a backpacking trip through Europe and visit a few different countries and I've been looking into getting a Eurail Pass. It sounds like it would work really well and keeps costs down.
For those of you that have used one, how was your experience? Would you recommend the eurail? What are some things that I should look out for? Any tips or advice for a good trip?
I'm 20 years old. I would like to visit Italy, Spain, and France for sure. Switzerland, Germany, and Greece are also pretty high on my want to see list.
Also, If you stayed in a hostel, any info, opinions, or tips would be great.
