My boyfriend of 3 years joined a fraternity in college and cheated on me during the short time we have been here (2 monthes) I wasnt aware of this, however, told him we needed to take a break due to his behaviour while drinking- which was sometimes violent. After two weeks into the break, he tries to get me back and the same day he was attempting, my friend told me about the cheating. Now, all of the sudden a month later, he ran into me studying and we ended up talking from 3am until 8am. During this time he did some peculiar things such as compliment my hair, ask me to his fraternity's formal, and then hugged me goodbye saying "youre the best." I dont really know what his motivation is behind all of this. Im pretty sure he is still hooking up with random girls presently, im mostly confused as to why he would ask me to the formal- i wouldnt be able to do that to somebody I had cheated on. Advice please!
