I don't have my book with me.
So does anyone know what pages these quotes from???
And if you only know a few of the pgs., that's better than nothing and would be very much appreciated!
-It was a special pleasure to see things eaten.
-this great python spitting its venomous kerosene upon the world
(talking about a firehose)(i think it's pg.1, but i can't truly remember)
-The house jumped in a gorging fire.
-Her dress whispered.
-The trees let down their dry rain.
-Her face was like the dial of a small clock.
-Her face was like a mirror.
-It was like coming into a cold room of a mausoleum.
-It fed in silence with an occasional sound of inner suffocation.
-His wife stretched on the bed like a body displayed on the lid of a tomb
-Two moonstones looked up at him in the light of his small hand-held fire.
-The sky over the house screamed.
Thanks!!!!!!
