Fanfic Readers- when reading, what do you find is more important to you a

well-written story, or a unique plot? I often find stories with a wonderful and unique idea, but horrible grammar and spelling. Usually, I disregard these stories, but then I also stumble upon well-written fanfics that are rather boring. This makes me wonder which is most important to you, as reader.

Would you rather read a unique story with bad grammar or a boring story with proper grammar and spelling?

Somewhere in the middle, I guess. The stories I find that have terrible writing never seem to have decent plots either. I really don't like inauthenticity, though, so I guess I prefer the well-written one.
