On July 13 Budweiser was sold to a Belgian company for more money than most countries are worth.. The buyers have stated they plan some minor changes with the operations(amusement parks no longer under the corporate banner).. We have all seen that Bud is a huge sponsor in many NHL arenas and their name is probably on the ice more than any other sponsor in the league..
What will the buyout of "the Great American Lager" mean in terms of its sponsorship and their role in general to our sport??

Thanks to Wings Fan for the earlier reference of American jobs and Homes for being tipsy to remind me of this question..

I think it may have more of an impact in the beer leagues over all. They currently sponsor many around the country. They are sponsor of our upcoming Iron woman tourney. But I am waiting and seeing. I am sure that they will keep their name is pro sports. Much money to be made . Even with the NHL as opposed to the NFL. They know hockey people love their beer. So it should stick around
