i was driving on the highway obeying the speed limit (it was snowing pretty bad) and it turned into a little town which i had to reduce my speed to 45, supposedly there was another reduce speed sign that i missed because of the bad weather and got followed by a cop. i then saw a 55mph sign ahead and decided to adjust my speed accordingly,,, he pulled me over immediately as i was speeding up and told me that i was going 51 in a 35 but only wrote me for 5 over.i told him i was not familiar with the area and that i couldn't see the speed limit sign.
would i have a case if i tried to fight the ticket? if so, what should i say?
