Final destination5 is the fifth work of famous American horror series film "Final Destination" produced by New Line, like previous works, still filmed with format 3D film. And this time, "Death to the 5" about a group of colleagues in the field to participate in outreach activities death appears on the suspension bridge, let's see how those one who ain't killed in the collapsed accident will die with incredible ways.

Final Destination5 has a more luxurious team, directed by Steven Quale, he had been assistant director in the super classical films Titanic and Avatar in earlier time. And Craig Perry, the producer of previous four works has returned. He had also produced "American Pie" series (the classic of classic). Eric Heisserer, who creates story for "New Nightmare on Elm Street" writes story for this one, too.

The bombing of aircraft in the outcome has closely connection with Final destination1, so you can say it is the beginning also is the perfect end, anyway, you'll understand what I'm saying if you have watched the series. I'm not gonna say how wonderful the series is, it just the ways that those people die, I mean, really incredible, maybe this is the point that it attracts so many people, these ideas are so creative. I bet Final Destination series just try to tell us we can't escape from the fate, obediently accept our fate, struggle will only make you more painful. And the movie won't stop to prove that there are many ways to die, something you can't guess or imagine.

The first work of this series dated back to 2000, this small-budget film became a classic of CULT after releasing. But someone says this type film is hard to have much new ideas, 3D can only make up its drawbacks at a moment. Invisible death is more horrible than visible killer, which is a selling point of this series, but unfortunately in the fifth, those scenes are neither bloody nor surprising, is kind of funny. It should be said "to kill a scapegoat" is an innovative setting up, it can be regarded as a resistance to death, but the director did not carry out in the end. Scenes of the bridge collapse at beginning can be comparable with 2012 or something in special efficiency, and the plot is quite compact, but following plot, how those survivors die is kind of dilatory. The final death of actor and actress is a tribute from producers, make the entire story to a circle, finally gives a destination to death.

New Line chose Nicholas D'Agosto who is Claire' boyfriend in NBC sci-fi drama Hero, and many familiar faces we have seen in other dramas, like Gossip Girl, Mad Men, Flash Forward, Emergence Room, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy etc. Maybe we are guessing if there be Final Destination6,7 or more, I mean this is how they planning, like Pirates of the Caribbean, Twilight, Horry Potter or something like that, anyway, enjoy this time and look forward next? Yet, watch it on your tablet with some friends may be more excited, I mean screaming together or something, so figure out how to rip dvd to ipad with a ipad converter for mac, then you can kill your time.
