Basically my uncle has been diagnosed with this awful disease. I'm wondering just how bad it is in the final stages? He's 51, which is obviously quite bad, and also, my cousin died of cancer when he was 25, he was my Uncle and Aunts son. Does this mean that, painfully, he will forget that his son has died? My mum has said that the doctors believe he won't live long; maybe into his early sixties. Obviously at the moment i'm just so frustrated that this has happened after everything that they went through with losing their son. Can someone tell me how bad it is in the final stages? thanks.
