I walked outside today to see the 4 way flashers on my 2000 Sienna flashing and the car was making a loud clicking sound as though a relay was tripping ona nd off under the hood. The keys were not in the ignition and the hazard light button was not engaged. When I put the key in the ignition and turned it to the run position the flashing and clicking stopped. When I leave the key in any other position or take the key out the lights flash (only the outside lights not the inside flashers). Also one of the idiot lights flashes on the dash at the same time. I had to disconnect the battery since it won't stop.
Any ideas? It has been icy and snowing so I'm assuming there's a short somehere...
