I read from a book. and heard a testimony that in order to find yourself, you must first lose yourself.
So I guess, this is one of the reason why I want to go to Colombia and study there.
The thought of going there exhilarates me but Im also very scared.

The thing about me is that, I get scared so easily.
Im a bit reserved and very cautious at times. I want to be like my friends from Medellin. They are so carefree, always happy, very confident and very strong-minded.
It's like as if nothing gets on their way when they want something.
They simply enjoy every moment of their stay here in Aussie.

I just wonder how they can be like that.
Is that something they learn in their Hometown OR once you traveled overseas?
Is that simply their personality?
Can one adjust to a culture that's completely different to hers?

Majority says Im sweet, innocent(maybe naive) and nice which i think is not useful when traveling. How can I create a different image to the world? Ones that shows Im one tough, independent, smart cookie!!

Like the Colombians,for instance. hehe.

P.S.
this is an open question but it would be nice if, at least, one answer is coming from someone who experienced travelling to a foreign place and loved it.I need INSPIRATION and MOTIVATION!! hehe.
