I have a 1984 ford Crown vic and according to the specs this engine creates a peak horsepower of 140 @ 3200 rpm. Ive heard that the 302 can be revved up to someting like 5000 rpm without any problems. In other words if im correct if I redline the engine It shouldnt be nowhere near a danger point. Also do any of you ford guys know if its possible to install a H.O. 302 with SMPI to replace the TBI 302 in the crown vic because I feel that the TBI kind of sucks.
