Message: <blockquote data-quote="vAnItY" data-source="post: 1621236" data-attributes="member: 215119">The keyless remotes have batteries in them and they go bad.  At least the one I had did.  They (auto part stores) usually won't replace them, they would rather you pay 50.00 for another keyless remote.  The batteries are not expensive and the remote can be pulled apart and put back together.  The reason I did not use my key was because the alarm would go off whenever it felt like it.I really believe its your door dude.  It has to be shut to work.</blockquote>
