free DVD burning software?

i have some .Avi files that i got from my digital camera and i want to burn all the clips to my dvd-r i have nero essential 7 i believe but i tried burning them by there and it had passed 4 hours and it wasnt even half way and not even in the burning part yet i want a faster program does anyone know where i can get one?

NERO is quite an easy program to use, and you can get it for as a trial, which alows you to do everything for i think 15 or thirty days, im not sure, and if you like it you can buy a full verson key, if your not into money, deepburner is free and works just as well minus the bells and whistles and some mre advanced features
