FREEZING PROBLEM WITH Samsung m450 slyde (phone).?

I was browsing the internet on it, and one page hadn't loaded properly. So the screen froze up and started vibrating, and the internet closed, leaving me at a screen that just said "Looking for Service". That screen froze, too, and started vibrating, and repeated the cycle every 5 seconds or so, also going black periodically. I can still turn my phone off, but every time I try turning it on -- even where I know there's service -- it repeats the process. I'm contemplating resetting it, but I need to know if there's anything else I should do, so ... help?

ok i have a similar problem to this..... every time i try to send a text, the screen goes blank and it goes to the main page.... it also deleted all of my texts...... i ook the battery out and pu it back in and it did the same goddamn thing..... im so pissed cuz im prolly missin out on tons of important shit cuz i cant use my p.o.s. phone !!!!!!
