I have a 12 gallon tank with one marble angel fish, one Julli-cori and 2 neon's and I'm unable to afford them any longer. My partner and I are expecting in 6 weeks and all of our income has been tied up in baby related matters and we can no longer afford the filters the fish tank needs. (It needs 3 separate filter components that are quite costly) I don't want them to die but there really is no way we can afford to buy the filters with my partner unable to work and myself being 8 months pregnant.
I believe the angel fish may have puff eye..or Ick and we can't afford the medication as well. I feel absolutely horrible and if I had the money I would instantly go buy new filters and the medication but as it is we can barely keep food in the cupboards.
Any ideas on what I can do? Should I just let them die? Or should I try to give them away to someone who can treat them? Please help.. no rude answers please.
I was actually typing up a Craig's list add right before I asked this question but thought I should get some other opinions first lol.
