freshman wants a class ring?

I don't remember what year they gave us the class ring broucher, But my daughter in the 9th grade, she brings one home and is just so so excited, I don't think we should get one for her just yet, She is an honor roll student, but I'm think more like jr/senior year.

Back in my hs they only let juniors/seniors order them. So yeah I think she should wait, those rings are expensive.
