than Shaq? Shaq's rookie stats: 81 games, 23.4 ppg, 13.9 rpg, 3.5 blocks per game, 56.2 fg %.

Blake's rookie stats thus far: 40 games, 22.5 ppg, 12.8 rpg, 0.7 blocks per game, 52.5 fg %.

Although Shaq dominates in virtually every relevant statistic, I think Blake can get his stats up as he gains more experience over the course of the year. I expect his points and rebounds to go up. On the defensive side, however, it's going to take a while for him to develop a good post defense.
Everybody, pay no attention to Darth Revan. He's a bitter, old Michael Jordan fan, attempting to disparage anyone who comes close to getting as much hype as MJ once did. And if you ever dare to compare a modern NBA player to someone from a previous decade, he'll rant about how the rules were "stricter" back then.
