Ok so out of nowhere, my 3Gs decided to freeze on the apple logo. I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary with it. I've held the power and home button till the screen goes black and the logo comes back. I've also taking out the SIM and also brought up the iTunes/USB screen then iTunes tells me I need to restore but when I click OK, it says I need to update to the newest version, which I think will ruin my jailbreak/unlock, right? Please throw me some advice! Thank you!!! BTW-when it's just sitting there, the screen will go black and bring the apple logo back up but nothing will have changed. UGH.
