I watched "Live Free or Die Hard" and "P.S. I Love You" on Blu Ray on my PS3. They are both displayed as full screen movies and not widescreen. Which means they are not letterboxed. Once in a while the picture gets choppy/jittery. However, when I play movies that ARE widescreen (ARE letterboxed), they play fine. I do not get choppy/ jitterness. My theory is that movies displayed in full screen, have a lot of information that needs to be processed through the PS3, which maybe too much for it. Therefore, causing choppy/ jitterness. And because movies displayed in widescreen have less information (because of the black letterboxes), the PS3 processes them fine. Has anyone else experience this? What are your theories? Is there a way to fix this? Or do I have a lemon PS3?
