future sister in law MIA when our dad passed away?

My dad had a very progressive disease and passed away. The day she passed away she told my brother she didn't know what he wanted her to do that her mom didn't want her to come to our city to be there for him. On top of that at the wake she didn't come say a word to any of the family except my brother and stayed in a corner with all of her family. The at the funeral she sat with her family and not with my brother or our family. Then we did a memorial walk for my dad and she didn't come she went home to see her family instead that day. It really makes me upset and I just want to know if it is ok to be mad about it. I feel like she doesn't care about our family at all
she has been with my brother for 4 years
 
maybe she didnt think she had a place with ur family, since they"re not married yet. if it truly bothers u that much, have an adult conversation with her. let her know how u feel, and she can tell u how she felt. staying mad at her won"t fix anything. talk 2 her. goodluck.
 
Death is a very difficult thing to deal with.
I did not have any experience with it until much later in life. Thankfully I have girlfriends who told me what was expected, because my parents certainly never did.
Be patient.
She likely thought that staying in the background was the best thing to do, not knowing what else would be appropriate.
