Okay, so I've been driving MKIII's for about 5 years. I had 2 '97s with the G11 coolant reservoir but never did I purchase G11 coolant, I simply used the basic stuff you get from Wal Mart. It says that it can be used and mix with any coolant.
Now, I've got a '98 and it has the G12 coolant reservoir and most definitely has G12 in there. Can/Should I use the same basic coolant I have been using all along or should I purchase G12?
If I should purchase G12, where do I do this?
