Promotion and sensationalization of pot yes, but clear rational discussion no. We've had a topic on this before. The problem is if anyone makes a valid point in its favor he gets jump flamed as a pothead worthless stoner piece of fecal material. If you have glaucoma, fine. Muscular Distrophy fine. Loss of weight thru chemotherapy I can understand. Some people don't like pills. Some prefer a more natural means of alleviating their symptoms. Personally I'm in that boat. I'm from a very anti-pill family, and honestly.. I'd say if it came down to me having to chow down on a handful of pills per day to keep my appetite up or self medicate myself on grass.. I'd go with the grass. It does believe it or not have some valid uses in todays society. Declaration of Independence, the document that smacked Britain across the face is scribed on hemp paper. Thomas Jefferson, George Washington both grew it... Well their slaves did I should say.. Its an over-hyped drug that shouldn't be in the same category as heroin, cocaine or methamphetamine. It doesn't have a LD50 that the average human can easily OD on, its serves a multitude of uses. Handy plant.. demonized through a sensationalist era in the US in the 20's. What do you want to know about it?
