German hunting terrier problem?

Hi guys,i have 13 moths old German hunting terrier,and i have some problems with it....He won't come back every time i call him,and if he can see some cat or dog near him,he chases it and i can't stop him...I know that he is old for teaching those things,but if you can,PLEASE help!
 
Hi, I have a german hunting terrier, too. He also likes to chase cats, but I don't let him. By the way: it's never too late to teach a dog. On your next walk, just take with you what he likes best: such as little pieces of sausages. When you call him friendly - never angry - he will certainly come back to you. If not, you should take his favoured toies and distract him from dogs/cats, he was triing to chase. All you have to do is to make you more attractive to him than any others ever could.
