When Jesus called peter satan because he cared more about man than God, doesnt that seem a little strong for a word when correcting someones behavior? I sometimes think wow does God think similarly when I become fearing of man sometimes? I dont get this
sylvia- i thought he was saying No i wont let it happen because he loved Jesus so much, in the end, it was Gods plan, and Gods plan required Jesus to suffer our sins so in a sense I could see the "satanic" metaphor to stopping Jesus from doing such a godly thing for us. Strong statement though
