Getting a new T-Mobile phone?

I have two questions. First of all, which 4g T-Mobile phone would you recommend and why? And secondly...Do only certain phones have the WiFi hot-spot. Is the hot spot free? and if so, how do i get it and which phones have it? Thank you!
