Im thinking about getting adult hermann tortoise, one that will hibernate of course. I didnt really want to leave him outside all the time in case something tried to attack him. If I brought him an outdoor enclosure and put something so if it rains he could go in a not get wet. Like when im not there he would have to make do with the shelter kennal kind of thing. But like if i was there I would bring him in. If it does rain is it ok to keep him in a large carboard box with food and water and bedding of course. And also that would be where he would be sleeping of a night. I live in the uk , in surrey so its getting warmer but would he be cold and die. I already have 2 baby hermanns which are housed indoors in a viv but theres no room for him and I would rather him outside. My baby hermanns dont go outside at the moment as its to cold for them but they will be when it gets abit warmer. Please help. Thanks No the carboard box would stay inside then i would have a wooden enclosure for outside. But id put him in the carboard boz inside when its cold and raining. One so he can walk around and that. AND NO IM GETTING A TORTOISE NOT A TURTLE ;; THANKZ ANYWAY
