So I have a friend who's type 1 diabetic, and since July/August he hasn't really been looking after himself. His sugars are almost always in the 20s and 30s(Canadian terms). Just now he's decided that he really want to get his sugars back under control, but he's worried that because his sugars have been so high for so long, and his last low was back in June, that he won't recognize when he's having a low anymore since his sugars have been so high for so long. How true will this be?
