I always worry a LOT when it comes to getting shots, and I know I'm going to be getting my pre-13 year old shots (tdap, meningitis, idk if my mom is going to make me get gardasil) pretty soon... each time I go in for a shot I am overcome with this huge adrenaline release and it makes the shot so much worse... any way I can contain it? It's like really really huge burst of nervousness and it's so so so scary (just the adrenaline rush)
Also people are always telling me about how much they hate shots and that they hurt really badly, but I don't think they hurt nearly half as bad as I'm always thinking they will. Taking my mind off it doesn't work so is there any way I can just convince myself that getting one is really not that painful, and it's just the idea of one?
sorry about the length; i have a really bad fear of needles lol
