There's a friend of my best mate who's single. I've been single for quite a while now and he said he'd set me up with her. I added her on Facebook and have talked to her a couple of times. I got quite fed up today and aided by a bit of 'dutch courage' , got her number off my mate and sent her the following text:
'I'd like to let you know that I do intend dating you soon. I think you're incredibly cute and really want to get to know you better. Cheers'
Lol, I'm sober now and wondering whether I did the right thing. I told my mate this, he said 'she's either going to be amazed at your confidence or think you're a retard'.
Also I barely know here..I've just spoken to her a couple of times on Facebook and she knows my friend really well..I've never met her..
 
It all depends on her views of you, honestly.

If I were to like a guy (even though I really haven't met him but theres some sort of attraction) that text would be considered cute and cofidence-filled, which is a plus!

BUT, if I weren't into this guy I'd be a little weirded out. :O
best way to know is contact her again, she how she responds to you..

If she led you on in the first place, then she'll be a total b@#$% to stop talking to you after that little incident.
